Hello. My name is Brian Jackson. I’m Melanie Jackson’s website administrator. I’m writing this post half as an introduction to my wife’s new website, but also as an apology for losing her old one.
You see, my wife owned MelanieJackson.com. Unfortunately, she chose the cheap (i.e. free) website administration option of leaving it for her moron husband to take care of things. Somehwere along the way, I lost touch my my wife’s domain name payments and… Puff!… melaniejackson.com was gone. I tried to reacquire it but found that my ISP wanted a premium of $5,000 to get the domain name back.
Note that this mishap has allowed me to refocus on my wife’s website by reimplementing it using my favorite WordPress them or directing it more at book promotion.
I hope you enjoy the current website and cut us some slack while it grows.
P.S. Sorry, babe, for losing your primo domain name ;-).
