The spouse has indulged in some book cover magic and created new covers for our Book of Dreams series.

Book of Dreams revisited…

Welcome to the Narcoscape– the place of dreams where infants are beguiled by visions and do not wake in the morning. It is the shadowy realm of the coma patient and the last stop for the drug users who come looking for the arms of Morpheus. It is the kingdom of the insane, the place where dark things prey on the mind.

This fabulous and largely misunderstood series has gone through several cover iterations as we attempted to find art that reflected the genre-bending nature of this series about a dream retrieval expert. Troubled by night terrors? Need someone to bodyguard your dreams? Have a loved one who has slipped into a coma and the doctors can’t explain why they sleep, or offer any hope of bringing them back? Then call Hypnos Inc. and ask for Nicodemus Smith, the dream retrieval expert.

See what I mean? Thriller and mystery and fantasy. That’s a lot of heavy-lifting to ask of a single image. But maybe– this time– we’ve got it.

Old Book Covers…

Note that the ‘new’ book covers below are now old. They were also created the old-fashioned way with photo manipulation. The new one’s are the work of the AI at Night Cafe. I used Night Cafe for the blog post art about the Elvis Presley Murders.
